We broke both rear shocks and removed them, but the coil springs kept falling out. Got new rear shocks, removed the stock bump stops, installed 21" limiting straps from bottom shock mount to stock bump stop mount on frame. 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 5.2 V8, 4.5" Rubicon Express adjustable short arm lift, 35x12.5 Pro Comp Xterrains. Prairie City SVRA OHV in Rancho Cordova, CA near Rocklin, Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville, Lincoln. Awesome place and only costs $5 for all day fun. Future mods coming very soon: New solid front tie rod and solid drag bar with heavy duty frame mount which removes the tie rod end, drop pitman arm, dual steering stabilizers, adjustable track bars front and rear, adjustable coil spacers with built in bump stops. Also looking into new tires, but keeping the same size. I'll probably go with some mud terrains or geolandars.
